During the General Assembly of the Cyprus NGDO Platform on January, 8, 2011, Sotiris Themistokleous from CARDET was elected as a member of the Platform Board. The new Board will serve for a period of 2 years.

The primary objectives of the Platform for 2011, as defined in its General Assembly, are to develop a new strategic plan in order to maximize its participation in actions and projects related to development and to prepare Civil Society for the upcoming Cyprus EU Presidency of 2012.
